July update from Pete Owen

July 23, 2016

Dear All

The season is now just around the corner. The latest news is season ticket sales are through the roof and away cup games for next season, in addition to home cup games and away league games, will count towards away match credits. No signings though………!

This update relates to all games up to and including 31st August 2016.

Home Match Tickets:

The following quote is from the Everton Box Office;

“just a heads up to let you know when ordering tickets this season we have smashed all expectations on season tickets sales which is amazing but makes the availability for match tickets very tight. The main bulk of clear views are up in the Top Balcony, there are a few clear views also but not many in the Upper Gwladys and a few in the Lower Bullens but the rest of the stands will be obstructed view with the Park End, Family Enclosure and Paddock totally sold out.”

Any club member who requires a home match ticket must give us as much notice as possible to obtain the best available. The alternatives are to purchase a season ticket or to visit StubHub. The sooner we get a new stadium the better!

Tottenham Hotspur (H) – Saturday, 13th August 2016 – Kick Off 15:00

Tickets for this game are sold out. The coach will leave from Leamington at 09:30 with the usual pickups. See the attached newsletter for further information.

West Bromwich Albion (A) – Saturday, 20th August 2016 – Kick Off 15:00

Ticket details have not yet been announced but we are compiling a list of those members who have requested a ticket. However, the number of tickets we will be allocated will depend on the number of members who are qualifying season ticket holders. Please let me know if you would like to be added to the list. As it’s a local fixture, there will not be any travel for this game.

Stoke City (H) – Saturday, 27th August 2016 – Kick Off 15:00

There is no announcement yet for tickets for this game, but anyone requiring any should get in touch as soon as possible. The coach will leave from Leamington at 09:30 with the usual pickups.

EFL Cup:

The second round of the newly named EFL Cup takes place during the week commencing 21st August 2016. Irrespective of where the game is played, anyone obtaining a ticket will receive an away credit.

The Sunderland away game has been moved to Monday,12th September which kicks off at 20:00. Due to the kick off time and distance involved I don’t anticipate making any official travel arrangements although no doubt a few hardy souls will make the trip by car. Middlesbrough at home on Saturday, 17th September has been moved to a 17:30 kick off; the coach will leave from Leamington at 12:00. The other league game is the visit to AFC Bournemouth which takes place on Saturday, 24th September and kicks off at 15:00. I’m not sure yet if we’ll be putting on any travel; it will depend on numbers.

If applicable, the third round of the EFL Cup takes place during the week commencing 19th September.

Away Match Tickets:

A word of warning when ordering away match tickets; Everton will not accept returns. Unfortunately, that means if you are unable to attend an away game you could lose the cost of the ticket.

See you soon
